Meet The Off Leash K9 Team
WE ARE PROFESSIONAL DOG TRAINERS THAT HELP FAMILIES WITH THEIR UNRULY DOGS AND MAKE THEIR LIVES EASIER
Devon - Owner
After graduating with her bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University, Devon decided to pursue a career in what she loves most: Dogs. She has been training with Off Leash K9 Training since May 2018, and her love of dogs has only continued to grow. Devon and trainer Maegan are also the owners of OLK9 Springfield! They brought Off Leash K9 Training to the Springfield/Branson area in August of 2019 to help more families have a better life with their dogs.
In her time as a dog trainer, Devon has had the opportunity to work with hundreds of families, including Mike Gundy, Head Football Coach at Oklahoma State University, training not one but three of his dogs. Devon believes that dogs are a huge part of every family, and their training can only make their part that much better.
Maegan - Owner
Maegan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has been a trainer with Off Leash K9 Training since November 2017 and has loved every minute! She and trainer Devon proudly own the Off Leash K9 Springfield location and have been serving the Springfield/Branson area since August of 2019. Working with dogs is what truly makes her happy. Maegan believes having a dog should enhance your life experiences, not inhibit them!
Frank - Trainer
Frank is a retired law enforcement officer of 13 years and a prior K9 handler and trainer. After years of doing what he loved, his passion for training dogs led him to pursue a career with Off Leash K9 Training in 2020.
Kasey - Trainer
Kasey is graduating with her Degree in Business & Marketing in December of 2020. She was born and has grown up in the Branson area her entire life.She has always had a heart for animals, specifically dogs, and has grown up with dogs in her home. Her passion to train dogs sparked when a family member became a K9 officer and after seeing a dog work she knew she wanted training dogs to be apart of her life. Anyone that knows Kasey, knows a big part of her life is her love for dogs. Her family knew this the second her first word was “Dog.”
Mckenzie - Trainer
McKenzie has a Bachelor’s of Science from Missouri State University. Growing up McKenzie had a dream of living on a dog farm with all dogs that couldn’t go to shelters. When she was 5 she got her very first dog and named him Scout. McKenzie then later asked her mom if she could get a big dog, her mom said when you move out you can have as many big dogs as you want. Of course upon moving out McKenzie did just that.
That very same month she went to a shelter and found her soul dog, Jasper. Now that she had her big dog she only had to figure out the dog farm part. After realizing her passion for dogs, McKenzie’s dream came true when she joined Off Leash K9 Training in 2022. She is so happy to be apart of the Off Leash K9 family!
Christina - Trainer
Christiana graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor’s in Health Science from the University of Missouri. She grew up in Willard, Missouri and has been surrounded by animals of all types throughout her life, with a dog always being the closest by her side.
When entering college, her mom started to foster dogs, and Christiana got right along into it, fostering and “foster failing” over and over.
Christiana’s most recent rescue, Peanut, is who helped her to find Off Leash K9 Springfield! She knew this would be the perfect training for her sweet friend, and then realized what better job for a dog lover than to be a dog trainer!? Christiana has been with Off Leash since 2023.
